Robert Konieczny to become a member of the French Academy of Architecture

Robert Konieczny, FAKRO Brand Ambassador, will become a member of the French Academy of Architecture in September.

The French Academy of Architecture is one of the most prestigious and respected European institutions whose main objective is to promote good architecture. It organizes a number of industry initiatives and publishes books on spatial and urban planning. One of the Academy’s flagship activities is awarding the best individuals with the Gold Medal for their merits in the field of architecture.

On September 12 at 6:30 pm in Paris, Robert Konieczny, FAKRO Brand Ambassador, will be admitted to the group of foreign members of the French Academy of Architecture. The ceremony will be preceded by a lecture given by this talented and award-winning architect on the most important projects of KWK Promes (a design studio founded by Robert Konieczny). At the same time, the exhibition titled “Polish Architecture in the Interwar Period: 1918–1939” will be inaugurated.

In the manifesto by Robert Konieczny and FAKRO we can read: Promote good Polish design and material culture. Don’t allow for any compromises in terms of quality – we build homes for people, not houses of cards. Respect our natural environment – every structure is just a complement to its surroundings. Set out a direction for development that supports modern architecture. Let us create with perfection in mind as this is the only way we can aim high and achieve more.

“Robert Konieczny’s membership in the French Academy of Architecture is due to his hard work, creativity and visionary courage. Simultaneously, it is a promotion of the Polish brand on the international architectural market. We are proud that Mr Robert Konieczny is our ambassador and send him our sincere congratulations,” added by Janusz Komurkiewicz, FAKRO Board Member for Marketing.
